"Krafty" is a song by English music group New Order, released as the first single from their eighth studio album, ''Waiting for the Sirens' Call'' (2005). It marked the first new release by New Order for Warner Bros. Records without London Records and was produced by John Leckie, who is notable for his involvement in records such as Pink Floyd's '' The Dark Side of the Moon'', Simple Minds' '' Real to Real Cacophony'', Radiohead's ''The Bends'' and The Stone Roses' debut album. New Order (band)
New Order are an English rock band formed in 1980 by vocalist and guitarist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook and drummer Stephen Morris. The members regrouped after the demise of their previous band Joy Division due to the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. They were joined by Gillian Gilbert on keyboards later that year. New Order's integration of post-punk with electronic and dance music made them one of the most acclaimed and influential bands of the 1980s. ''Real to Real Cacophony'' (sometimes incorrectly referred as ''Reel to Real Cacophony'') is the second studio album by Scottish rock band Simple Minds. It was released on 23 November 1979 through record labels Zoom and Arista. Recording ''Real to Real Cacophony'' was recorded and mixed in five weeks at Rockfield Studios. According to producer John Leckie the band had only four songs ("Premonition", "Factory", "Calling Your Name" and "Changeling"), the rest of the album was written in the studio. Release ''Real to Real Cacophony'' was less successful than '' Life in a Day'', it did not chart, nor did its only single, "Changeling". Bo Johan Renck (born 5 December 1966) is a Swedish director of music videos, TV and film. He was originally a singer-songwriter from 1991 to 2001, using the moniker Stakka Bo, and had an international hit with his single " Here We Go" in 1993. Peter Andrew Saville (born 9 October 1955) is an English art director and graphic designer. He came to prominence for the many record sleeves he designed for Factory Records, which he co-founded in 1978 alongside Tony Wilson and Alan Erasmus. Early life Peter Saville was born in Manchester, Lancashire, and attended St Ambrose College. He studied graphic design at Manchester Polytechnic from 1975 to 1978. Saville became involved in the music scene after meeting Tony Wilson, the journalist and broadcaster. The meeting resulted in Wilson commissioning the first Factory poster ( FAC 1).
