Dardani
The Dardani (; ; ) or Dardanians were a Paleo-Balkan languages, Paleo-Balkan people, who lived in a region that was named Kingdom of Dardania, Dardania after their settlement there. They were among the oldest Balkan peoples, and their society was very complex. 1993 Women's European Volleyball Championship
The 1993 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 18th edition of the event, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball. It was hosted in Brno and Zlín, Czech Republic from 24 September to 2 October 1993. Participating teams *Note: Although the Czech Republic and Slovakia became separate countries in 1993, the Czechoslovakia Volleyball Federation (ČSFV) was not yet separate, therefore the team competed as Czechoslovakia (officially as Czech Republic + Slovak Republic). Volleyball In Kosovo
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the program at the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. KV Drita
KV Drita is a volleyball club based in Gjilan, Kosovo, founded in 1953. The club was formed on the initiative of the professors and students of a normal school led by Enver Gjinolli. Name In its early years the club was named "Partizani". In 1898 the name was changed to "Akademiku", and in 1977, after a merger with "Tekstil" the club became "Taftison". Finally in 1990 the name was changed to "KV Drita", because all other Gjilan sports teams used this name. History After uniting with the "Tekstil" the club became Kosovan champions in the 1980-81 season and ranked highly in the Sixth Federal League of Yugoslavia. In 1982, Professor Hajrush Fazliu formed a club for women in Selami Hallaqi School in Gjilan, where coaches Hajrush Fazliu, Hafiz Gashi, Shaban Kastrati spotted talent to join KV "Taftison". The Northwood Timberwolves are the athletic teams that represent Northwood University, located in Midland, Michigan, in intercollegiate sports as a member of the NCAA Division II ranks, primarily competing in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) since the 2022–23 academic year. ''Koha Ditore'' (trans. ''Daily Time'') is the leading daily newspaper in Kosovo. It is published by Koha Group and was founded and owned by politician Veton Surroi. His sister Flaka Surroi is now the publisher, following Veton Surroi's launch of his political career within the ORA reformist party. The newspaper initially published as a weekly magazine Koha, that ran from 1992 to 1994, becoming a leading weekly magazine in Kosovo. 2021 Women's European Volleyball Championship Qualification
This article describes the qualification for the 2021 Women's European Volleyball Championship. Qualifying matches were initially scheduled in August and September 2020 but due to COVID-19 pandemic CEV decided to postpone the matches. On 29 June 2020, CEV released a tentative schedule moving the matches to January 2021. In December 2020 as a response to the coronavirus crisis and the many restrictions in place in many countries for teams to travel and organisers to host and deliver sporting events, the CEV Board of Administration has decided to postpone the completion of the CEV EuroVolley 2021 qualifiers to 16 May 2021 at the latest. Qualification Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania as host countries were directly qualified. The 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 30th edition of the European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball. The tournament was co-hosted by Azerbaijan and Georgia, and was held between 22 September and 1 October 2017. Serbia defeated Netherlands in the final to capture their second european title.
