Konstantin Leonidovich Volkov (Russian language, rus. Константин Леонидович Волков) is a Russian professional ice hockey Goaltender (ice hockey), goaltender who plays for HC Dynamo Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He was selected by the Nashville Predators in the sixth round, 168th overall, of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career In the 2014–2015 season, Volkov played three games for SKA-1946 in the MHL with a saving percentage of .882%. He moved to SKA Varyagi, SKA-Varyagi in the MHL B in the middle of the season, where he played 28 matches with a save percentage of .906. He also represented Varyagi in the playoffs with a save percentage of .928. In the 2015-2016 season, Volkov followed the same pattern as before: he initially represented SKA-1946 in 17 matches with a save percentage of .902%, until he moved again to Varyagi, where he played six games with a save percentage of .925 percent. The 2023–24 KHL season is the 16th season of the Kontinental Hockey League. There are 23 teams that will compete in 68 regular season games, with a record 165 playing days, beginning on 1 September 2023 and ending on 26 February 2024. Season changes For the 2023–24 season, the competition welcomed the return of Lada Togliatti, marking their third stint in the KHL having last played in the league in 2018. The SM-liiga (marketed as just Liiga from 2013 on), (Finnish for ''League'') colloquially called the Finnish Elite League in English or FM-ligan in Swedish, is the top professional ice hockey league in Finland. It is one of the six founding leagues of the Champions Hockey League and currently allocated five spots - the maximum number - based on success in previous editions. It was created in 1975 to replace the SM-sarja, which was fundamentally an amateur league. The SM-liiga is not directly overseen by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association, but the league and association have an agreement of cooperation. Porin Ässät (; Finnish language, Finnish for ''Pori Aces'' or ''Aces of Pori'') is a professional ice hockey club based in the town of Pori, Finland. They play in the Finnish elite league, Liiga. The 2021–22 Liiga season was the 47th season of the Liiga (formerly SM-liiga), the top level of ice hockey in Finland, since the league's formation in 1975. Teams Regular season Standings Top six advanced straight to the quarter-finals, while teams between 7th and 10th positions played a wild card round for the final two spots. Save percentage (often known by such symbols as SV%, SVS%, SVP, PCT) is a statistic in various goal-scoring sports that track saves as a statistic. In ice hockey and lacrosse, it is a statistic that represents the percentage of shots on goal a goaltender stops. Goals against average (GAA) also known as "average goals against" or "AGA" is a statistic used in field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and water polo that is the mean of goals allowed per game by a goaltender or goalkeeper (depending on sport). GAA is analogous to a baseball pitcher's earned run average (ERA). In Japanese, the same translation (防御率) is used for both GAA and ERA, because of this. For ice hockey, the goals against average statistic is the number of goals a goaltender allows per 60 minutes of playing time.
