Kitty Bugge
Kitty Bugge (1878–1938) was a Norwegian feminist and union leader. Anna Hvoslef (October 5, 1866 – 11 March 1954) was a Norwegian journalist, conservative politician and feminist. One of Norway's first female professional journalists, she was the first woman to work as a journalist at the major newspaper ''Aftenposten'' and served as president of the Norwegian Association for Women's Rights 1930–1935. Biography She was born at Larvik in Vestfold, Norway. She was the daughter of Johan Christian Georg Hvoslef (1819-1889). Margarete Ottilie Bonnevie (née Skattebøl) (13 December 1884 – 28 March 1970) was a Norwegian author, women's rights advocate and politician for the Liberal Party of Norway. A liberal feminist, she served as the 13th President of the Norwegian Association for Women's Rights (NKF) from 1936 to 1946 and is credited with reviving the liberal women's rights movement in the 1930s. Bonnevie said that NKF should work for solutions that are in the best interest of all women and society, "be the captain who keeps a steady course" in the struggle for equality and "set out the main policy objectives and seek to get the government, parliament and local government bodies to implement the reforms that are required." Anna Bugge
Anna Bugge Wicksell (17 November 1862 – 19 February 1928) was a Norwegian and Swedish feminist, lawyer, diplomat and politician. She helped found the debate society Skuld in high school, and served as president of the Norwegian Association for Women's Rights (January 1888 till June 1889) after the debate on morality brought on by Ragna Nielsen's resignation. She moved to Sweden in 1889 and became a lawyer and Swedish diplomat, and the first female member of the League of Nations' permanent mandate commission. Life Bugge was born in Egersund, Norway. Her particular interest was in concrete reforms; she was more occupied with the social and economic reasons for the suppression of women, rather than spiritual discussions on morality and codes of conduct.
