Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj
Kirpal Singh (6 February 1894 – 21 August 1974) was a spiritual master ('' satguru'') in the tradition of Radha Soami. Kirpal Singh was born in Sayyad Kasran, Punjab, in what is now Pakistan. He lived in Lahore during the period of his discipleship and attained a high position in the bureaucracy as a deputy comptroller of military accounts. He was the President of the World Fellowship of Religions, an organization recognized by UNESCO, which had representatives from all the main religions of the world. Kirpal Singh was an Indian politician and elected official. Formerly a member of the Janata Dal party, he was the founder and president of Punjab Janata Morcha. He was elected to the Lok Sabha as an independent after failing to get the nomination of Janata Dal. Punjab Janata Morcha (PJM), in English the Punjab Popular Front, was a Sikh political party in the Indian state of Punjab. The party formed in 1989 as a splinter group of the Janata Dal. The party failed to win any election seats in its lifetime. Party president Kirpal Singh announced that the PJM was disbanded in 1997. Rear Admiral Kirpal Singh, AVSM (5 September 1925 – 10 August 2021) was a flag officer in the Indian Navy and founder of Dolphin Offshore Enterprises, one of India's first offshore technology firms. As a philanthropist, he formed the Dolphin Foundation, dedicated to providing grants and fellowships in the offshore and marine industry. Early life and education Singh was born to Partap Singh and Laj Wanti, on 5 September 1925 in Beawar, in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. His father was a junior level Police Officer in the Opium Contraband Control Department during the British Raj. Singh grew up in very modest circumstances. Kirpal Singh Chugh (12 December 1932 – 17 September 2017) was an Indian nephrologist from Patti, a neighbouring town to Amritsar in the Indian state of Punjab. Kirpal Singh Narang was an Indian historian, educationist and the vice-chancellor of Punjabi University. He was the second in line of the vice-chancellors of the university (1966–75) and the longest serving among them. Kripal Singh Shekhawat
Kripal Singh Shekhawat (1922-2008) was a renowned craftsman and ceramist of India. He was famous for his skills in Blue Pottery of Jaipur and is credited for the revival of that art in India. Life and career Born in Mau Rajasthan in 1922, he studied original painting at the Shanti Niketan in West Bengal and later did a diploma in Oriental Arts from the Tokyo University, Japan. He was also the director of Sawai Ram Singh Shilpa Kala Mandir at Jaipur where he taught Indian painting and Blue Pottery. He was conferred the Padma Shri in 1974 and was also honoured with the title Shilp Guru by the Government of India in 2002.
