''Nothing'' is the second EP by Diatribe, released on October 19, 1992, by Re-Constriction Records. Music Recording for ''Nothing'' began after the band released ''Therapy'' in 1991 for Eight One Nine Productions and COP International. When asked about how Lee Popa and Nivek Ogre become involved with the production of ''Nothing'', Kevin Marburg stated: The band released several songs from the EP to various artists compilations for promotion. Diatribe (band)
Diatribe was an industrial rock group from San Jose, California active in the 1990s. They had a sound similar to 16 Volt and Chemlab, integrating synthesizers and vocal samples with more traditional rock instruments. The band's full-length debut ''Diatribe'' was released by Cargo Music and Re-Constriction Records on November 3, 1996. History Diatribe was formed in San Jose, California, by vocalist/keyboardist Marc Jameson, bassist Kevin Marburg and guitarists Vince Montalbano and Pat Toves. Industrial rock is a fusion genre that fuses industrial music and rock music. ''Life's Too Good'' is the debut studio album by Icelandic alternative rock group the Sugarcubes. The Sugarcubes ( Icelandic: Sykurmolarnir) were an Icelandic alternative rock band from Reykjavík formed in 1986 and disbanded in 1992. ''Funky Alternatives Seven'' is a various artists compilation album released in 1993 by Concrete Productions. Reception Randolph Heard of '' Option'' gave a ''Funky Alternatives Seven'' and claimed "manly growling and bleating over lead-footed beats and pop-culture sampling depict a cartoonish cyberpunk world full of diseased machines, rabid Christians, terminal drug abuse and, of course, cop killing."
