Pacific Union College (PUC) is a private university, private liberal arts colleges in the United States, liberal arts college in Angwin, California. It is the only four-year college in Napa County, California, Napa County. It is a coeducational residential college with an almost exclusively undergraduate student body. Sophia Kindrick Alcorn
Sophia Kindrick Alcorn (August 3, 1883 – November 28, 1967) was an educator who invented the Tadoma method of communication with people who are deaf and blind. She advocated for the rights of people with disabilities and upon retiring from her long career in teaching, she worked with the American Foundation for the Blind. Background Sophia Kindrick Alcorn was born the youngest of seven children of James Walker and Sophie Ann (Kindrick) Alcorn in Stanford, Kentucky, on August 3, 1883.Kleber, pp. 10–11 Annie Alcorn was the eldest of her siblings, marrying in November 1899 James N. Kindrick Legion Field is a baseball park located in Helena, Montana which serves as the home field of three American Legion teams: the Senators, Reps, and Independents. It was previously the home ballpark of the Helena Brewers Minor League Baseball team who left after the 2018 season. The stadium was built in 1932 and holds 2,100 people.
