Kin'ichi Kusumi
(born September 23, 1950) is a Japanese actor who has also used the stage name . He has appeared in tokusatsu kaiju productions (monster movies) and in pink films. Life and career Kusumi started appearing on Japanese TV as early as 1971 (under the name Mamoru Kusumi) when he played the role of Mirror Man in the Fuji TV superhero series of the same name which ran from December 1971 to November 1972. In 1973 he was the giant Zone Fighter in the Nippon Television series, again using the name Mamoru Kusumi. Again under the same name, he played the monsters Anguirus and King Caesar in the 1974 Toho film ''Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla''. Still as Mamoru Kusumi, by November 1977 he also started acting in the Japanese softcore pornographic genre of pink film with a starring role in the Pro Taka studio movie for director Seiji Izumi. Ike! Godman
is a Japanese tokusatsu Kyodai Hero kaiju television series by Toho. It ran from October 5, 1972, to April 10, 1973. It was pulled from reruns on September 28, 1973, and it was replaced by '' Ike! Greenman''. While on air Monday through Saturday, with only one or two episodes per week, each episode consisted of six (or three) parts and each part was five minutes long. The entire series ran for twenty-six episodes. On every Monday (or Thursday), the Kaiju for the particular set of episodes would appear, with the plot for the set advancing through each successive day of the week, with the battle ending on Saturday with Godman being victorious. Each set follows a similar structure, with people calling for Godman's aid and the hero coming to assist them. Redman (TV Series)
is a Japanese ''tokusatsu'' television series. A Kyodai Hero programme, featuring the titular hero growing to immense size and fighting similarly sized monsters. Originally broadcast as 138 five-minute segments as part of the children's variety show '' Ohayo! Kodomo Show'' on Nippon TV, it was produced by Tsuburaya Productions. ''Redman'' was initially aired between April 3, 1972, to September 8 of that same year. In 2016, Tsuburaya Productions uploaded the series to its official YouTube channel.
