Killing Time (video Game)
''Killing Time'' is a horror fiction, horror-themed first-person shooter video game developed by Studio 3DO. Originally an exclusive for their 3DO Interactive Multiplayer console, it was later remade for the Microsoft Windows, Windows platform in 1996 by Logicware and for the MacOS, Macintosh after the 3DO system was discontinued. On July 23, 2015, ZOOM Platform announced the release of an updated version of ''Killing Time'' exclusively for their store. The update work was done by Jordan Freeman Group and published by ZOOM Platform and Prism Entertainment. The player takes on the role of a former Egyptology student, trapped within the estate of a wealthy Beneficiary, heiress on Matinicus Isle, Maine. The 3DO Company
The 3DO Company (formerly THDO on the NASDAQ stock exchange), also known as 3DO, was an American video game company. It was founded in 1991 by Electronic Arts founder Trip Hawkins, in a partnership with seven other companies. After 3DO's flagship video game console, the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer, failed in the marketplace, the company exited the hardware business and became a third-party video game developer. It went bankrupt in 2003 due to poor sales of its games. Its headquarters were in Redwood City, California, in the San Francisco Bay Area. A Molotov cocktail (among several other names – ''see other names'') is a hand thrown incendiary weapon constructed from a frangible container filled with flammable substances equipped with a fuse (typically a glass bottle filled with flammable liquids sealed with a cloth wick). In use, the fuse attached to the container is lit and the weapon is thrown, shattering on impact. This ignites the flammable substances contained in the bottle and spreads flames as the fuel burns. Due to their relative ease of production, Molotov cocktails are typically improvised weapons. Acclaim Entertainment, Inc. was an American video game publisher based in Glen Cove, New York. Rum-running or bootlegging is the illegal business of smuggling alcoholic beverages where such transportation is forbidden by law.
