The Main Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Kyiv ( uk, ГУМВС України в м. Києві – Головне управління МВС України в м. Києві) was a police force established in 1858 in Kyiv as the ''Kyiv Municipal Police'' (Київська міська поліція). It was the largest municipal police force in Ukraine, with primary responsibilities in law enforcement and investigation in Ukrainian capital. The Kyiv Police was one of the oldest police departments in Ukraine. Its headquarters were located at Volodymyr Street 15 in Kyiv. The Kyiv Police is part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Ukraine), Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVS); the police is also subordinate to the Kyiv government. Volodymyrska Hill
Volodymyrska Hill or Saint Volodymyr Hill ( uk, Володимирська гірка, ''"Volodymyrska hirka"'') is a large park located on the steep right-bank of the Dnieper River, Dnipro River in central Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Its most famous and prominent landmark is the Monument to Prince Volodymyr. National Police Of Ukraine
The National Police of Ukraine ( uk, Націона́льна полі́ція Украї́ни, translit=Natsionálʹna polítsiya Ukrayíny, ; , NPU), often simply referred to as the ( uk, Поліція, lit=Police, label=none), is the national, and only, police service of Ukraine. In criminology, public-order crime is defined by Siegel (2004) as "crime which involves acts that interfere with the operations of society and the ability of people to function efficiently", i.e., it is behaviour that has been labelled criminal because it is contrary to shared norms, social values, and customs.
