Kielen Adams
Kielen Marcel Adams (born 11 May 2001) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays as a striker for Ashton United. Early life Adams was born in Huddersfield. Career After playing youth football for Oldham Athletic and Bradford City, Adams returned to Oldham in July 2019. In January 2020 he joined Chorley on loan. On 2 March 2020, he joined Hyde United on a one-month loan. He was released by Oldham at the end of the 2019–20 season. On 4 September 2020, Adams signed for Clitheroe after playing for the club as a trialist. He extended his contract with the club in January 2021. In August 2021, he signed for Macclesfield. Adams joined Marine in March 2022, the first time since 1995 that the club had paid a transfer fee for a player. The undisclosed transfer fee was the highest that Macclesfield had received for a player. He moved on loan to Ashton United in November 2022, before the transfer was made permanent in December. The National League North, formerly Conference North, is a division of the National League in England, immediately below the National League division. The 2011 Helmand Province killing was the manslaughter of a wounded Taliban insurgent by Alexander Blackman, which occurred on 15 September 2011. Three Royal Marines, known during their trial as Marines A, B, and C, were anonymously tried by court martial. On 8 November 2013, Marines B and C were acquitted, but Blackman (Marine A) was initially found guilty of murder of the Afghan insurgent, in contravention of section 42 of the Armed Forces Act 2006. This made him the first British soldier to be convicted of a battlefield murder whilst serving abroad since the Second World War. The 2021–22 season will be the 54th season of the Northern Premier League. The league consists of four divisions, the Premier Division at Step 3 of the National League System, and the West, East and Midlands divisions at Step 4. The Football Association Challenge Vase, usually referred to as the FA Vase, is an annual football competition for teams playing in Steps 5 and 6 of the English National League System (or equivalently, tier 9 or 10 of the overall English football league system). For the 2017–18 season 619 entrants were accepted, with two qualifying rounds preceding the six proper rounds, semi-finals (played over two legs) and final to be played at Wembley Stadium. The North West Counties Football League is a football league in the North West of England. Since 2019–20, the league has covered the Isle of Man, Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cumbria, northern Staffordshire, northern Shropshire, the far west of West Yorkshire, and the High Peak area of Derbyshire. In the past, the league has also hosted clubs from North Wales such as Caernarfon Town, Colwyn Bay and Rhyl. The 2021–22 North West Counties Football League season was the 40th in the history of the North West Counties Football League, a football competition in England, and the fourth season following the split of the lower level into two geographically separated divisions. Teams are divided into three divisions: Premier Division, at Step 5, and Divisions One North and South, at Step 6. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system.
