2005 Mongolia Premier League
The 2005 Mongolian National Championship was the thirty-eighth recorded edition of top flight football in Mongolia and the tenth season of the Mongolian Premier League, which took over as the highest level of competition in the country from the previous Mongolian National Championship. Khoromkhon were champions, their first title, Khangarid were runners up, with Mazaalai in third place. Following this, four of the five competing teams qualified for the semifinal playoffs, the winners of which advanced to a one off final, with the losers contesting a third place match. Naranbold Nyam-Osor
Nyam-Osoryn Naranbold ( mn, Ням-Осорын Наранболд; born 22 February 1992) is a Mongolian footballer who plays as a forward for Mongolian Premier League club Khovd and the Mongolian national team. With eight international goals, he is tied for first place on Mongolia’s all-time scorers list. Club career Naranbold began playing for Khoromkhon of the Mongolian Premier League in 2008. He made appearances in the club's two matches during the qualifying rounds of the 2016 AFC Cup, a 0–2 defeat to K-Electric F.C. of Pakistan and a 0–0 draw with Druk United of Bhutan. Khoromkhon failed to progress to the next round. With Khoromkhon, he won the league championship in 2014 and was runner-up in 2008 and 2012. For the 2015 season he was the league's top goal scorer with 23 goals. Ulaanbaataryn Mazaalaynuud returned to the league after withdrawing from competition in the 2012 season, replacing Khasiin Khulguud to keep the number of teams at seven. The season started on 25 June and ended with the championship match on 30 August 2013. The top four teams in the standings advanced to the single elimination playoff stage. The 2015 Mongolian Premier League also known as the Khurkhree National Top League is the 47th edition of the tournament. Two new teams entered the competition, Deren and Soyombiin Barsuud to increase the number of teams to nine. The season started on 16 May 2015 and was ended on 26 September. Khurkhree National Premier League The competition is to be known as the Khurkhree National Premier League for sponsorship reasons, after the Mongolian Football Federation signed a MNT 400 million sponsorship deal with Arvain Undes, a Mongolian company that produces the beer, Khurkhree. As well as the new sponsorship deal, matches will also be broadcast on NTV television and online, with the teams competing for a share of a MNT 100 million prize fund. 2016 AFC Cup
The 2016 AFC Cup was the 13th edition of the AFC Cup, Asia's secondary club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya defeated Bengaluru FC in the final to win their first AFC Cup title, becoming the first Iraqi team to win the competition. The number of teams reduce to seven due to the withdrawal of Ulaanbaataryn Mazaalaynuud in the 2012 season. It started on 1 May and ended on 31 August 2013. Erchim won the tournament for the eighth time by beating Khangarid 4–1 in penalties. Erchim will also advance to the 2014 AFC President's Cup representing Mongolia. The Mongolian First League (also known as the Khurkhree National First League for sponsorship reasons) is the second-highest division of Mongolian football leagues. Foundation The Mongolia First League was founded in 2015 by the Mongolian Football Federation. Mongolian Football Federation Cup Ten teams participated in the 2012 Mongolian Football Federation Cup. The final was played on 15 September 2012. Erchim defeated Khasiin Khulguud in a penalty shoot-out, after the match ended in extra time with a 1-1 draw. Super Cup The 2012 Super Cup was played on 30 September 2012 between the league winner Erchim and the cup runner-up Khasiin Khulguud. It is usually played between the winners of the Niislel League and the Mongolian Football Federation Cup, but Erchim won both titles this year. Erchim defeated Khasiin Khulguud 7-2. As the winner of the Super Cup, they will participate in the 2013 AFC President's Cup representing Mongolia.
