Khaidi (1984 Film)
''Khaidi'' ( Prisoner) is a 1984 Indian Kannada-language film, written by Chi. Udaya Shankar, directed by K. S. R. Das and produced by G. R. K. Raju. The film stars Vishnuvardhan, Aarathi, Madhavi and Jayamalini in the lead roles. The film has musical score by K. Chakravarthy. Cinematography was done by V. Lakshman. The film is a remake of the Telugu movie of the same name which itself was loosely inspired by the 1982 movie '' First Blood''. The film tells the story of a hardworking young man and his revenge against the people who killed his father and sister and sent him to jail, by falsely accusing him of killing his sister. Dheerendra Gopal
Gopal Rao, known by his stage name Dheerendra Gopal, was an Indian film and stage actor known for his work in Kannada films. He acted in over 350 films and was predominantly recognized for his performances in villainous and comic roles. After making his film debut with ''Subhadra Kalyana'' (1972), he received recognition for his performance in Puttanna Kanagal's '' Paduvaaralli Pandavaru'' (1978). Career Dheerendra Gopal was noticed at a young age by Gubbi Veeranna. Gubbi Veeranna saw him solo act at a school and was impressed with his performance and invited him to be part of his company. Mukhyamantri Chandru
Honnasandra Narasimhaiah Chandrashekar (born 28 August 1953), known popularly as Mukhyamantri Chandru, is an Indian actor and politician. As an actor, he is known for his work in Kannada theatre and cinema. The sobriquet ''Mukhyamantri'' (Chief Minister) stuck to his name after the play of the same name that sees him portray the titular role became widely popular. Having portrayed mostly comic and negative roles throughout his career, Chandru is a character actor, and has acted in over 500 films since making his debut in 1983.
