Kevin O'Reilly
Kevin O'Reilly (born 1987) is Hurling, hurler for the Dublin GAA, Dublin senior team and Lucan Sarsfields. O'Reilly was named on the 2007 3rd Level All-Star XV for DIT GAA, DIT due to his performance in the Fitzgibbon Cup. O'Reilly was named on the Dublin Blue Stars team five times over his club career, firstly in 2006, then in 2009, 2011, 2013 and again in 2015. O'Reilly played as a forward and was a freetaker for Dublin GAA, Dublin Hurling Team and his native club, Lucan Sarsfields. Playing career Minor / U21 O'Reilly won a Leinster Minor Hurling Championship medal for Dublin in 2005, with a five-point win over Wexford GAA, Wexford. He finished the game with a total of three frees and one point from play. During the same year O'Reilly won the Dublin Minor Hurling Championship with Lucan Sarsfields against Ballyboden St Endas. Lucan Sarsfields
Lucan Sarsfields (Irish: ''Sáirséalaigh Leamhcáin'' ) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Lucan, Dublin, Ireland. It was founded in 1886, making it one of the oldest GAA clubs in Dublin. Sarsfields were one of 16 teams which contested the Dublin Senior Championship in 1887. They were also involved in the Senior Championship of 1892, and the club has fielded Gaelic football, hurling and camogie teams ever since. Early success Lucan won the Intermediate Football League in the 1904–05 season. It is reported that they did this with the help of five players from Balbriggan. The story goes that in 1902 a team call Balbriggan Wanderers won the Intermediate League and then for some reason or other went out of existence in 1904. One of the players on that team was a man named Paddy Richardson, who was a fish merchant and regularly attended the Dublin market. Leinster Under-21 Hurling Championship
The Leinster GAA Hurling All-Ireland Under-20 Championship known simply as the Leinster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Leinster. The championship was contested as the Leinster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. It is sponsored by Bord Gáis Energy. The series of games are played during the summer months with the Leinster final currently being played in July. The prize for the winning team is the Seán Robbins Cup. The championship has always been played on a straight knock-out basis whereby once a team loses they are eliminated from the series. National Hurling League 2007
The 2007 National Hurling League was the 76th season of the National Hurling League, the top leagues for Inter county, inter-county hurling teams, since its establishment in 1925. The fixtures were announced on 28 November 2006. The season began on 18 February 2007 and concluded on 29 April 2007. Division 1A Kilkenny GAA, Kilkenny came into the season as defending champions of the 2006 National Hurling League, 2006 season. Dublin GAA, Dublin entered Division 1 as the promoted team. CLG Na Fianna ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Na Fianna) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Glasnevin, in the Northside of Dublin, Ireland. UPMC Nowlan Park (; ) is the principal Gaelic Athletic Association stadium in Kilkenny, Ireland. Named after James Nowlan (the longest serving President of the GAA), the stadium hosts major hurling matches and is home to the Kilkenny hurling team. It opened in 1927 replacing St. James Park.
