Kevin Lacroix (racing Driver)
Kevin Lacroix (born March 14, 1989) is a Canadian racing driver from Saint-Eustache, Quebec. History After karting, Lacroix drove in Formula BMW USA in 2005 and finished second with four wins. In 2006 he competed in the Star Mazda Series for John Walko Racing and finished second in points with five podium finishes but no wins. 2007 saw him compete in eight races in the second half of the Atlantic Championship season for Brooks Associates Racing. He won in his second start at Portland International Raceway. In 2008 he competed in the full Atlantic Championship schedule for Walker Racing. He finished 9th in points with a best finish of second in the season finale at Road Atlanta. NASCAR Canadian Tire Series Lacroix made his NASCAR Canadian Tire Series debut at the 2015 Pinty's Presents the Clarington 200 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Saint-Eustache, Quebec
Saint-Eustache () is an off-island suburb of Montreal, in western Quebec, Canada, west of Montreal on the north shore of the Rivière des Mille Îles. It is located northwest of Montreal. History The city was founded in 1770 and was incorporated in 1835. It has a famous church, Saint-Eustache church, which was built between 1780 and 1783. A significant battle of the Lower Canada Rebellion was fought here on December 14, 1837. In the Battle of Saint-Eustache, the rebels were defeated, and the town was burnt. The church was fully rebuilt after the burning except for the front facade, where canon bullet holes can still be found. Brooks Associates Racing
Brooks Associates Racing is an American motorsport team based in Tucson, Arizona, which competes in the Indy Lights series. It previously competed in the Atlantic Championship where it won the 2008 season championship. The team was founded in 2000 by owner John C. Brooks, a former driver himself. Atlantic Championship 2004 Ronnie Bremer raced the first five races of the season with Brooks Associates Racing, before moving to Polestar Motor Racing. He was replaced by Al Unser III for three late season races. Tõnis Kasemets made six starts for the team and finished thirteenth in points. Board track racing was a type of motorsport popular in the United States during the 1910s and 1920s. Competition was conducted on circular or oval race courses with surfaces composed of wooden planks. This type of track was first used for motorcycle competition, wherein they were called ''motordromes'', before being adapted for use by various different types of racing cars. The majority of the American national championship races were contested at such venues during the 1920s. Board tracks proliferated in part because they were inexpensive to construct, but they lacked durability and required a great deal of maintenance to remain usable.
