Kevin Greene (rugby Union)
Kevin Michael Greene (born 31 December 1949) is a former New Zealand rugby union player and coach. He was the first coach of Glasgow Warriors, when the Glasgow District (rugby union), Glasgow District side professionalised in 1996. Rugby Union career Provincial career A Rugby union positions#Scrum-half, halfback, Greene represented Waikato Rugby Union, Waikato at a provincial level. International career He was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in 1976 and 1977. He played eight games for the All Blacks, but did not appear in any test matches. Coaching career Greene was the coach of Waikato before finding himself in Scotland coaching amateur side Glasgow Academicals. During this time he also helped out coaching with Glasgow Academy, Greenock Wanderers and Clydebank Rugby Club. Hamilton ( mi, Kirikiriroa) is an inland city in the North Island of New Zealand. Located on the banks of the Waikato River, it is the seat and most populous city of the Waikato region. Ian McGeechan
Sir Ian Robert McGeechan, OBE (born 30 October 1946) is a retired Scottish rugby union player, coach and teacher. Born in Leeds, McGeechan represented Headingley as his only club during a 15-year club career, qualifying for Scotland through his father he played 32 times internationally for Scotland over 7 years and won 8 caps on two tours for the British & Irish Lions. During his playing career he worked as a teacher. Upon retiring from player McGeechan began coaching, in a career spanning 26 years he coached the most recent Scottish side to win a grandslam in the 1990 Five Nations Championship, and won Premiership Rugby & the European Cup with London Wasps in 2008 & 2007. Super Rugby is a men's professional rugby union club competition involving teams from Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. It previously included teams from Argentina, Japan, and South Africa. Building on various Southern Hemisphere competitions dating back to the South Pacific Championship in 1986, with teams from a number of southern nations, the Super Rugby started as the Super 12 in the 1996 season with 12 teams from 3 countries: Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Euan Murray
Euan Murray (born 7 August 1980) is a retired Scottish rugby union footballer, whose last club was Pau in the French Top 14. He started his career with Glasgow Warriors before playing for a number of clubs including Northampton Saints, Newcastle Falcons and Worcester Warriors. He also played for the Scotland national team. His usual position was tighthead prop and he was known as a strong scrummager. He is a fundamentalist Christian and throughout his career has decided not to play on Sundays. Career Club Murray played most of his club rugby with Glasgow Southern (now known as GHA after amalgamation with Hutchesons' Aloysians) before he went on to join Glasgow Hawks and then a professional contract with Glasgow Warriors.
