Kevin D. Miller is an American politician and law enforcement officer who was appointed to serve as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from the 72nd district. Miller has previously worked as a commander with the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Education Miller earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University in 1997. Career Miller has served as a member of the Ohio State Highway Patrol for 22 years, including as a commander, labor relations advocate, and trooper. He most recently served as the Highway Patrol's legislative liaison. Larry Householder
Larry Lee Householder (born June 6, 1959) is an American politician who was the state representative for Ohio's 72nd district and was a two-time Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives. He is a member of the Republican Party. Householder represented the same district from 1997 to 2004, including as speaker from 2001 to 2004. In 2016, he was elected to the Statehouse again and on January 7, 2019, he was selected to serve again as speaker. His district included Coshocton and Perry counties, as well as about half of Licking County. On July 21, 2020, the FBI arrested Householder on federal RICO charges. The charges allege that his return to politics in 2016 was part of a criminal conspiracy. The Ohio House of Representatives unanimously removed Householder as speaker on July 30. The Ohio House of Representatives is the lower house of the Ohio General Assembly, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Ohio; the other house of the bicameral legislature being the Ohio Senate. The House of Representatives first met in Chillicothe on March 3, 1803, under the later superseded state constitution of that year. In 1816, the capital was moved to Columbus, where it is located today. Members are limited to four successive two-year elected terms (terms are considered successive if they are separated by less than four years).
