Kenneth Harrison (POW)
Lance Sergeant Kenneth Ignatius Harrison (25 August 1918 – 1982) was an Australian anti-tank non-commissioned officer who fought in the Malayan Campaign. He was eventually captured by the Japanese, becoming a prisoner of war held initially at Changi in Singapore. When the war ended he was among the first foreigners to enter Hiroshima. After the war he became an author, writing about his experiences. Malaya Harrison was a member of the Australian Army's 4th Anti-Tank Regiment. He participated in one of the few successes in Malaya at the Battle of Muar, which saw Japanese armour held-up or destroyed, before the IJA's 'Tiger' Yamashita's bicycle-mounted corps successfully engulfed Commonwealth positions and eventually took Singapore, a historically severe and unexpected blow to the British Empire. Kenneth Harrison (serial Killer)
Kenneth Francis Harrison (September 4, 1938 – April 20, 1989), known as The Giggler, was an American serial killer who killed four people in Boston, Massachusetts from 1967 to 1969, for which he was sentenced to life imprisonment. He earned his nickname from calling the authorities after each killing, professing it was the killer speaking and uncontrollably giggling before hanging up. Harrison died in hospital in 1989, following a deliberate attempt to commit suicide by overdosing on medication. Early life Kenneth Francis Harrison was born on September 4, 1938, in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston, one of two children of Earl Harrison and his Polish-born wife Veronica (née Zemotel). Kenny Harrison (born Kerry Harrison, February 13, 1965 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States) is a former track and field athlete competing in triple jump. Athletic career High school Harrison went to Brookfield Central for high school, where he competed in football, basketball and track. He holds schools records in the long, high, and triple jump. His triple jump of 52 feet 4.5 inches at the 1983 Golden West Invitational ranked him #2 triple jump prep in the nation, and currently stands as the Wisconsin high school #1 all-time triple jump by over 2 feet. Wild Strawberries is a Canadian pop rock band consisting of married couple Roberta Carter-Harrison (vocals) and Ken Harrison. They have released a number of albums, their latest being ''dear post haste'' (2020). History Wild Strawberries was established during the couple's time at university, during which they would hold jam sessions with friends. In 1988, the band submitted the song "Crying Shame" to Toronto radio station CFNY for its new music search contest; it won the contest, and received airplay from the station. ''Mutant X'' is a science fiction television series created under a Marvel Comics license, but with no connection to the '' Mutant X'' comic book series. It debuted in first-run syndication on October 6, 2001. The show was created by Avi Arad, and it centers on Mutant X, a team of "new mutants" who possess extraordinary powers as a result of genetic engineering.
