Kenneth "Apple" Green (born September 19, 1959) is an American former National Basketball Association (NBA) player for the New York Knicks. Green played for Pan American University, where he led the Broncs to the 1981 NIT tournament, the school's only Division I post-season appearance. During this season Green was an NCAA honorable mention All American. Green was drafted with the eleventh pick in the second round of the 1981 NBA draft by the Denver Nuggets; however, the Nuggets waived Green before the start of the 1981-82 NBA season. He was signed by the Portland Trail Blazers before the 1985–86 NBA season The 1985–86 NBA season was the 40th season of the National Basketball Association. Ken Green (footballer, Born 1924)
Kenneth Green (27 April 1924 – 7 June 2001) was an English footballer who played as a full back. He played for Birmingham City from 1943 to 1959, making 443 appearances in all competitions and scoring 3 goals, and played in the 1956 FA Cup final which Birmingham lost to Manchester City 3–1. He earned two England B caps in 1954, and was subsequently named in the full England squad which travelled to Switzerland for the 1954 FIFA World Cup. However, he never made a senior appearance for England. Green died in Sutton Coldfield in 2001 at the age of 77. Kenneth J. Green (born July 23, 1958) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour, the Nationwide Tour and the PGA Tour Champions. Green has won eleven tournaments as a pro, including five PGA Tour events and played on the U.S. team in the 1989 Ryder Cup. He is also known for returning to competition after losing his right leg in a 2009 RV accident. Early years Green was born in Danbury, Connecticut. He started playing golf at age 12 in Honduras, where his father, Martin "Marty" Green, was principal of the American school, and his only choices of sports were golf or soccer. Kenneth Anthony Green (born October 13, 1967) is a retired American professional basketball player. At a height of , he played at the power forward and center positions College career Green played collegiate basketball at the University of Rhode Island, between 1986 and 1990. He is the school's all-time leader in blocks, and on five different occasions, he blocked eight shots in a single game. Green was named the Atlantic 10 Conference's Freshman of the Year in 1986–87, and as a senior, his 124 blocks, topped the NCAA Division I. Kenny Greene (January 17, 1969 – October 1, 2001) was an American singer-songwriter who was also a member of the R&B group Intro. Career As a member of the R&B group Intro, Greene wrote and produced many of the group's tracks and was lead vocalist. He also wrote many songs for other artists, such as Mary J. Blige's " Reminisce" and "Love No Limit." For his work with Blige, Greene won the Songwriter of the Year award from the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers'.
