Keegan Murray
Keegan Mitchell Murray (born August 19, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected fourth overall by the Kings in the 2022 NBA draft. He is the twin brother of Kris Murray, who plays for the Portland Trail Blazers. High school career Murray played basketball for Prairie High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As a senior he averaged 20.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game and was named Metro Player of the Year. Murray spent a postgraduate year at DME Academy in Daytona Beach, Florida to gain more exposure. Iowa Hawkeyes Men's Basketball
The Iowa Hawkeyes men's basketball team is part of the University of Iowa athletics department. The Hawkeyes have played in 28 NCAA Tournaments, eight NIT Tournaments, won eight Big Ten regular-season conference championships and won the Big Ten tournament three times. Iowa has played in the Final Four on three occasions, reaching the semifinals in 1955 and 1980 and playing in the championship game against the University of San Francisco in 1956. A postgraduate (PG) year is an extra year of secondary coursework at a boarding school following high school graduation, but before entering college. It is a gap year option intended for students who either have not applied or were not admitted to college. At most schools, postgraduate students are integrated with the senior class, where they are able to participate in the same activities and sports, as well as living and eating arrangements, as the seniors. In the United States, most of the programs are in New England. They started around the 1960s and were sponsored by the U.S. military academies, who would accept students after the one-year program.
