Carole Keddy
Carole Juanita Keddy (June 20, 1937 – January 2016) was an educator and political figure in New Brunswick, Canada. She represented Saint John Champlain in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick from 1999 to 2003 as a Progressive Conservative member. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Keddy was educated at the New Brunswick Teacher's College, the University of New Brunswick and the University of Maryland, College Park. She was a teacher, vice-principal and principal in New Brunswick, Ontario, Manitoba, the Northwest Territories, the Yukon and Germany and taught at Simon Fraser University. She also owned and operated a manufacturing company while in British Columbia. From 1962 to 1966, Keddy worked with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Gerald Keddy
Gerald Gordon Keddy (born February 15, 1953) is a Canadian politician. Keddy is a former Christmas tree grower, and offshore drill operator and was a Member of Parliament from 1997 to 2015, first sitting with the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada and latterly with its successor the Conservative Party of Canada. Keddy was chair of The Standing Committee on Fisheries, and later long time Parliamentary Secretary for International Trade, Atlantic Canada Opportunities, and then National Revenue and Agriculture. His wife, Judy Streatch, is a former Nova Scotia MLA and cabinet minister. Early life and education Keddy was born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. James Keddy
James Keddy (born 26 March 1973) is an Irish football coach and former player who is currently manager at Wexford FC. Career Keddy made his League of Ireland debut for Home Farm on 13 October 1991. He joined UCD in 1994 and his other clubs have included Derry City, Shelbourne, Dundalk, Shamrock Rovers, Bohemians and Drogheda United. Keddy helped Shelbourne win the double of the League of Ireland and FAI Cup in 2000. Keddy received another FAI Cup winners medal as part of the Dundalk cup winning squad of 2002. He was signed by Liam Buckley for Shamrock Rovers in June 2002 and went on to make a total of 65 appearances, scoring 9 goals, in his two seasons at Rovers. Paul Keddy
Paul A. Keddy (born May 29, 1953 in London, Ontario) is a Canadian ecologist. He has studied plant population ecology and community ecology in wetlands and many other habitats in eastern Canada and Louisiana, United States. He began his formal training in biology in 1969 at York University in Toronto and finished his PhD at Dalhousie University with Evelyn C. Pielou. He has been professor of biology for 30 years, first at the University of Guelph (1978–1982), then the University of Ottawa (1982–1999) and then held the ''Edward G. Schlieder Endowed Chair for Environmental Studies'' at Southeastern Louisiana University (1999 to 2007). He has published over 150 scholarly articles, written seven books, and edited two books. He has been designated a Highly Cited Researcher by the Institute for Scientific Information.
