Kazakhstan Men's National Tennis Team
The Kazakhstan men's national tennis team represents Kazakhstan in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation. In 2011, Kazakhstan competed in the World Group for the first time after they won against Switzerland in the 2010 World Group Play-offs. After the first round win against the Czech Republic in 2011, Kazakhstan secured their spot in the World Group for the 2012 Davis Cup. They lost in the first round to Spain, but defeated Uzbekistan in the play-offs, which again kept them in the World Group for 2013. Yuri Schukin
Yuri Schukin (russian: Ю́рий Ива́нович Щу́кин, Shchukin; born 26 June 1979) is a retired Russian-born Kazakhstani tennis player. Schukin has a career high ATP singles ranking of World No. 119, achieved on 19 November 2007. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of World No. 117, achieved on 16 October 2000. Career Schukin made his ATP Tour singles debut at the 2001 Australian Open where he battled through the qualifying rounds to earn a spot in the main draw. Switzerland Davis Cup Team
The Switzerland men's national tennis team represents Switzerland in the Davis Cup tennis competition and is governed by Swiss Tennis. In 2007, Switzerland competed in the World Group for the 13th consecutive year – the third longest ongoing streak – before being relegated after losing 3–2 against the Czech Republic. Andrey Golubev
Andrey Golubev ( rus, Андре́й Алекса́ндрович Го́лубев; born July 22, 1987) is a Kazakh professional tennis player. His career-high singles ranking is world No. 33, achieved on 4 October 2010 and his doubles ranking is world No. 21, achieved on 16 May 2022. He is currently the No. 1 Kazakh doubles player. He won the 2010 International German Open, an ATP 500 event, to claim Kazakhstan's first-ever ATP title. Aleksandr Nedovyesov (born 15 February 1987), formerly known as Oleksandr Nedovyesov, is a Ukrainian-Kazakhstani professional tennis player. He reached his highest ATP singles ranking of world No. 72 on 21 April 2014 and his highest doubles ranking of world No. 54 on 15 August 2022. Mikhail Aleksandrovich Kukushkin (russian: link=no, Михаил Александрович Кукушкин; born 26 December 1987) is a Russian-born Kazakhstani professional tennis player. Before 2008, he played for his country of birth, Russia. Career Born in Volgograd, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union, he turned pro in 2006. Alexander Stanislavovich "Sasha" Bublik (; born 17 June 1997) is a Russian-born Kazakhstani professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 30 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he achieved in February 2022, and is the current Kazakhstani No. 1 player. Bublik also has a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 47, attained on 8 November 2021.
