Kaydee
Kaydee were a four-piece pop rock band from Kilkenny, Ireland which existed between 1994 and 1998. One member in particular, Tara Blaise, has gone on to have a successful solo career. Biography Beginnings In 1994, Jan Kealy, Bob Murphy, Kevin Bruce, and Joey Shore started a band called Kaydee, taking the name from the initials 'K.D.'. The lead singer Jan Kealy had been writing songs since the age of thirteen and in an interview with Radio Kilkenny on 28 June, the guitarist Kevin Bruce cited My Bloody Valentine as one of his influences. The band played many times at the Pumphouse Pub and various other venues in Kilkenny. In 1994 the band sent a demo tape to and played a showcase for EMI, and they were signed by A&R man Thomas Black to their Irish subsidiary Lime Records. With Lime Records "Cradle" was Kaydee's debut single, released on 20 June 1997 and entered the Irish Singles Chart at No.18. ''Menace II Society'' (pronounced ''Menace to Society'') is a 1993 American teen drama film directed by the Hughes Brothers in their directorial debut. ''Mistaken Identity'' is the fifteenth studio album by American singer-songwriter Donna Summer, released on August 23, 1991, by Atlantic Records and Warner Bros. Records. A musical departure for Summer, ''Mistaken Identity'' was her last release under Atlantic Records, and The album was a commercial failure and failed to chart, although it reached number 97 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Kappa Delta
Kappa Delta (, also known as KD or Kaydee) was the first sorority founded at the State Female Normal School (now Longwood University), in Farmville, Virginia. Kappa Delta is one of the "Farmville Four" sororities founded at the university, which includes Alpha Sigma Alpha, Sigma Sigma Sigma, and Zeta Tau Alpha. A clock tower at the university campus with a clock face representing each sorority is dedicated to the four. Each sorority in the "Farmville Four" is also a member of the National Panhellenic Conference, which governs the 26 national social sororities.
