Kay Van Dijk
Kay van Dijk (born 25 June 1984) is a Dutch volleyball player, a member of Netherlands men's national volleyball team in 2003-2013 and Persian club Peykan Tehran volleyball club, a participant of the Olympic Games Athens 2004, a silver medalist of the European League 2008, Belgium Champion (2008), Slovenian Champion (2011). Career Dijk famous team member in 2014 he was a player of Trentino Volley, but during the season 2014/2015 he moved to the Polish club ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle and signed one-year contract. He replaced in the team Grzegorz Bociek - opposite hitter, who informed about interruption of sporting career because of serious disease. Grzegorz Bociek
Grzegorz Bociek (born 6 June 1991) is a Polish volleyball player. At the professional club level, he plays for Cuprum Lubin, two–time Polish Champion (2016, 2017). Personal life Bociek was born in Sielec, Poland. He has two brothers – Łukasz, Piotr and a younger sister Monika (born 1996), who is also a volleyball player and has played in the Polish women's junior national team. On June 12, 2014, his fiancée Paulina gave birth to their daughter Alicja. On October 1, 2014, Bociek announced at a press conference that he is suspending his sports career because of a serious disease. He was suffering from a tumor of the lymphoid tissues. On October 4, 2014, he married Paulina (née Bigos). Bociek disease began with lymphadenopathy in the neck. Upon further investigation, it turned out that it was a cancer of the lymphatic system. The Paykan ( fa, پيکان meaning ''Arrow'') is the first Iranian-made car produced by Iran Khodro (formerly called "Iran National") between 1967 and 2005. The car was very popular in Iran from its introduction until its discontinuation. It is often colloquially referred as the Iranian chariot. The Paykan was a Hillman Hunter built under licence, but had some unique body work and locally developed variants (most notably, the pickup, which used a different body shell from the one sold elsewhere). 2008 Men's European Volleyball League
The 2008 Men's European Volleyball League was the fifth edition of the European Volleyball League, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the CEV. The final Four was held in Bursa, Turkey from 19 to 20 July 2008. For the first time Great Britain joined the competition and it will also enter it as a unified team as a result of a FIVB decision which allows the United Kingdom to play as a unified team in order to prepare for the next 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
