PowerPark
PowerPark is a large scale karting and amusement park in Alahärmä, Finland. It is located along Highway 19, north of Seinäjoki and east of Vaasa. The main karting track already resembles an F1 circuit and has previously hosted the Karting World Championship, but they also have a hectare-large indoor track, the largest in Europe. Other than that the resort also contains a restaurant, large hotel, a camping area with cottages and all sorts of amusement rides. Finnish National Road 19
Finnish national road 19 ( fi, valtatie 19, sv, riksväg 19) is the Finnish highway leading from Kurikka, via Seinäjoki to Nykarleby. The length of the road is 121,4 kilometers. The road is a major transport intermediary in South and Central Ostrobothnia. The road belongs to the main roads defined by the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The road is mainly a good quality two-lane highway. Highway 19 passes through the following municipalities: Kurikka–Ilmajoki–Seinäjoki–Lapua–Kauhava–Nykarleby. It starts at Kurikka's Jalasjärvi, where it diverges from Highway 3 ( E12). The road runs in the area of Ilmajoki municipality and then past the city of Seinäjoki. Þorlákshöfn
Þorlákshöfn () is a town on the southern coast of Iceland in the Municipality of Ölfus. The town is named after Saint Thorlak who was a bishop at Skálholt. Its main importance is as a port as it has the only harbour on Iceland's southern coastline between GrindavÃk in the west and Höfn in the east. The port serves a direct weekly cargo ferries to Rotterdam and Hirtshals operated by Faroese Smyril Line. It is also one of two departure points for ferries to the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago. Services include restaurants, tourism, golf course, motocross field, camping, sport complex and a swimming pool. The town has several fish processing enterprises. Skærbæk Municipality
Skærbæk Municipality was a municipality in Southern Jutland. It covered an area of and had a total population of 7,294 (2005). The municipal seat was the town of Skærbæk. The municipality included the island of Rømø, the southernmost of Denmark's part of the North Frisian Islands. The island, which lies in the Wadden Sea about from the mainland, is a popular beach area in the summer, and is linked to the mainland by a road— ''Rømøvej''— running across a causeway. Rygge
Rygge was a municipality in Østfold county, Norway. It was merged into Moss municipality on January 1, 2020. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Rygge. Rygge was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The emblem of Rygge is the Pasque flower. Rapla
Rapla (German: ''Rappel'') is a town in central Estonia, the capital of Rapla County and the centre of Rapla Parish. The oldest records date back to 1241 in the Danish Census Book, when it was said that it was a small village with 8 acres of cultivated fields. By the end of the 13th century, the village centre was firmly established. At around the same time, a Cistercian monastery was built. Rapla's ambitious period of fast growth began only in the late 19th century. In 1866, a pharmacy was built, in 1868 a school, and in 1888 a hospital. In 1898, a Brick factory was opened, and in 1900, a railway line was built between Rapla and Viljandi. The old stone church was demolished in the late 19th century and a new one was built in a Romanesque style, one of the purest examples of this style in all of Estonia. Puukko
A puukko () is a small traditional Finnish general purpose belt knife with a single curved cutting edge, solid hidden tang and, usually, a flat spine. Military models of puukko were popular in the Russian criminal underworld under the name "Finnish knife" or ''finka'' since the 20th century. The modified version were among the models on which the Soviet military knife NR-40 was based and which was informally called "finka". Design The basic components of a puukko are a handle and a blade along with a sheath, which can usually be attached to a belt but sometimes to a shirt or coat button.
