''Kawda Machan Alice'' ( si, කවුද මචං ඇලිස්, italic=yes) is a 2013 Sri Lankan Sinhala comedy film directed by Lesli Siriwardana and co-produced by Raj Ranasinghe and Ashok Ranasinghe. It stars Wimal Kumara de Costa and Ronnie Leitch in lead roles along with Wilson Gunaratne and Samanthi Lenarol. Music composed by Somapala Rathnayake. It is the 1193rd Sri Lankan film in the Sinhala cinema. Wimal Kumara De Costa
Wimal Kumara de Costa (4 July 1948 – 20 November 2016 as විමල් කුමාර ද කොස්තා inhala was an actor in Sri Lankan cinema. One of the most popular comedy artists in 1980s and 1990s, he started cinema career with character roles in art films where he later moved to comedy roles in cinema. He is cited as the pioneer of Sri Lanka mime industry. Personal life Wimal Kumara De Costa was born on 4 July, 1948 in Kelaniya, and he completed his education from Gurukula College, Kelaniya. Ronnie Leitch
Ronnie Luke Leitch (19 October 1953 – 1 October 2018 as රොනී ලීච්), better known as Ronni Leitch and Thattaya, was a Sri Lankan actor, comedian, singer, presenter and a social activist. Largely popularized as a comedian, Leitch was a singer, having gained fame for singing over 350 songs. His most notable songs include "''Thattaya''" and "''Kauda Bole Alice''". Family Leitch was born on 19 October 1953 in Dehiwela. His father died on 26 December 2017 and funeral took place on 27 December at 4:00 p.m at the Mount Lavinia Cemetery. He married his childhood sweetheart, Yvette in 1986, and is the father of daughter Keshia and son Keshan. Wilson Gunaratne
Wilson Gunaratne (born March 9, 1949, as විල්සන් ගුණරත්න inhala is an actor and comedian in Sri Lankan cinema, stage drama and television. He is most notable for the role ''Kodithuwakku'' in television comedy sitcom ''Nonavaruni Mahathvaruni'' and stage drama ''Charitha Atak''. It is the only stage play in Sri Lanka in which one actor portrays eight different characters with eight different voices. Acting career At that time when he was working in an executive position in the field of hotel management, Gunaratne met Tony Ranasinghe through his elder brother. Under his guidance, Gunaratne made a minor role in a scene shot in the hotel premises for a film. Rathnayake Arachchilage Somapala ( Sinhala: සෝමපාල රත්නායක; 7 November 1947 – 18 July 2017), popularly known as Somapala Rathnayake, was a Sri Lankan actor, composer, lyricist and a renowned musician. Personal life Rathnayake was born on 7 November 1947 in a small village near Kadugannawa as the fourth of the family with 10 siblings. His father was Rathnayake Arachchilage Don James. Sri Lankan cinema encompasses the Sri Lankan film industry. It is a fledgling industry that has struggled to find a footing since its inauguration in 1947 with '' Kadawunu Poronduwa'' produced by S. M. Nayagam of Chitra Kala Movietone. Sri Lankan films are usually made in Sinhala and Tamil languages, the dominant languages of the country.
