Kathleen "Kathy" Johnson Clarke (born Kathleen Ann Johnson; September 13, 1959) is an American sports commentator and former artistic gymnastics, artistic gymnast. Johnson was one of the first American gymnasts to win a major international medal, known for her longevity and tenacity in the sport. Early life On September 13, 1959, Johnson was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Career At a young age, she lived in Indialantic, Florida. She began gymnastics at the age of twelve; a relatively late start for an elite gymnast. Within four years, however, she had progressed to competition at the elite level, placing 42nd at the 1975 AAU National Championships. Career Kathy worked with Patrick Chan before his previous coach, Christy Krall Christine "Christy" Haigler (married name: Krall, born January 5, 1948) is an American former competitive figure skater. Kathy E. Johnson is an American psychologist and academic administrator who is the 8th president of the University of New Orleans. She was the chief academic officer of the Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis from 2015 to 2023. Career Johnson earned a B.S. in psychology, ''summa cum laude'' (1987), and an M.S. in developmental psychology (1989) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She completed a Ph.D. in psychology focusing on cognition and development from Emory University in 1992. Johnson joined the Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) in 1993 as an assistant professor of psychology. She was promoted to associate professor in 1999 and professor in 2006. Kathryn Lee Gifford (née Epstein; born August 16, 1953) is an American television presenter, singer, songwriter, actress and author. From 1985 to 2000, she and Regis Philbin hosted the talk show '' Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee''. Gifford is also known for her 11-year run with Hoda Kotb, on the fourth hour of NBC's '' Today'' show (2008–2019)''.''
