Katarina Köhler
Katarina Köhler (born 1954) is a Swedish politician, teacher and former member of the Riksdag, the national legislature. A member of the Social Democratic Party, she represented Västerbotten County between October 2010 and September 2018. She had previously been a substitute member of the Riksdag for Ibrahim Baylan twice: October 2006; and September 2007 to December 2007. Köhler is the daughter of farmer Gunnar Köhler and Aili Regina Köhler. She was educated in Gällivare. She studied organisational development and leadership at Dalarna University and process pedagogy at Luleå University of Technology. She was a teacher in Skellefteå from 1986 to 1992 and from 1994 to 2010. Skellefteå Municipality () is a municipality in Västerbotten County in northern Sweden. Its seat is located in Skellefteå. History Most of the amalgamations leading to the present municipality took place in 1967 when the then "City of Skellefteå" was merged with the rural municipality by the same name and also with the municipalities Jörn, Bureå and Byske. The enlarged city became a municipality of unitary type with the new local government act in 1971, and in 1974 the municipalities Burträsk and Lövånger were added. Skellefteå (, locally ) is a Cities in Sweden, city in Västerbotten County, Sweden. It is the seat of Skellefteå Municipality, which had 73,246 inhabitants in 2021. The city is historically industrial, with mining being a large part of that industry, especially for gold, leading to the city being nicknamed ''Guldstaden'' ("gold town"). Politically, Skellefteå is a Social Democrats (Sweden), Social Democratic stronghold.
