Karmayogi (1978 Film)
''Karmayogi'' () is a 1978 Indian Hindi-language action drama film, produced by Anil Suri on A. R. Productions banner and directed by Ram Maheshwari. It stars Raaj Kumar, Jeetendra, Mala Sinha, Rekha and Reena Roy in pivotal roles. The music composed by Kalyanji-Anandji. The film was remade in Telugu as ''Nipputo Chelagaatam'' in 1982 with Krishnam Raju, Sharada, Jayasudha in the pivotal roles. Plot After being betrayed and swindled by many people, Shankar (Raaj Kumar) becomes bitter. He takes the path of crime which he says will yield what he wants swiftly, money. His wife, Durga ( Mala Sinha) is a very religious and pious woman who firmly believes in the teachings of Geeta. Shankar feels that he and Durga cannot live together due to their very different views on life. Raaj Kumar
Raaj Kumar (born Kulbhushan Pandit; 8 October 1926 3 July 1996) was an Indian actor who worked in Hindi films. He appeared in the Oscar-nominated 1957 film ''Mother India'' and starred in over 70 Hindi films in a career that spanned over four decades. Personal life Kulbhushan Pandit was born in Loralai, Baluchistan, British India (now Pakistan) in a Kashmiri Pandit family. Dheeraj Kumar (born 1 October 1944) is an Indian actor, television producer and director. He started Creative Eye Limited, a television production house in 1986. He has acted in both Bollywood and Punjabi films, including '' Sargam'' (1979), '' Roti Kapada Aur Makaan'' (1974) and '' Beharoopia'' (1971).
