Joensuu
Joensuu (; krl, Jovensuu; ) is a city and municipality in North Karelia, Finland, located on the northern shore of Lake Pyhäselkä (northern part of Lake Saimaa) at the mouth of the Pielinen River (''Pielisjoki''). "Back in Black" is a song by Australian rock band AC/DC. It was released as the second US single from their seventh album of the same name in 1980 through Atlantic Records. 1986 BDO World Darts Championship
The 1986 Embassy World Darts Championship was held between 4–11 January 1986. For the first time, the tournament was held at the Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green, Surrey, having been held at Jollees Cabaret Club in Stoke-on-Trent for the previous seven years. Willy Logie
Willy Logie (born 17 November 1952) is a retired Belgian professional darts player who competed in the 1980s and 1990s. He competed in the 1985 BDO World Darts Championship, beating Bob Sinnaeve in the first round before being defeated by Eric Bristow in the second round. His only other World Championship appearance came in 1986 when he lost in the first round to Finland's Kari Saukkonen. He also played in the 1985 Winmau World Masters, losing in the first round to Harry Patterson. Logie had one ranked title success during his career - by winning the 1985 Swiss Open. He also won the 1986 Spring Cup, an unranked WDF event. Winmau World Masters
The World Masters is one of the longest-running and most prestigious of the BDO/WDF tournaments, which began in 1974. The tournament is sponsored by darts board manufacturer, Winmau. The World Masters was unusual in darts in that its sets are the best of 3 legs (first to 2) rather than the standard best of 5 legs (first to 3). It was previously the final leg of the BDO's Grand Slam title of televised majors, along with the BDO World Darts Championship, International Darts League and World Darts Trophy, until the latter two tournaments were axed in 2008. The champion is referred to as the World Master. After the collapse of the British Darts Organisation in September 2020, the World Darts Federation announced plans to launch the WDF World Masters. Leonard "Len" Heard (born January 18, 1942) is a former English-American professional darts player who competed in British Darts Organisation (BDO) events in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. He was nicknamed Lenny. Career Heard reached the final of the 1979 North American Open, losing to Eric Bristow. Heard then played in the 1980 BDO World Darts Championship, losing in the first round to Dave Whitcombe. Heard then won the 1980 North American Open. Nicholas "Nick" Virachkul (June 3, 1948 – April 17, 1999) was an American professional darts player who competed in the 1970s and 1980s. Personal life Nicky Virachkul was born in Thailand, studied in the United States and became a naturalized citizen. Darts career Virachkul represented the United States internationally in dart tournaments. He competed at the first Embassy World Darts Championship in 1978, losing narrowly by 7–8 in the semi-final to eventual champion, Leighton Rees. He won third place in a play-off by defeating Stefan Lord. Virachakul reached the quarter-finals on three other occasions: in 1981 (losing to Eric Bristow), 1982 (losing to Bobby George) and 1984 (losing to Dave Whitcombe). Despite his respectable record, it was nevertheless a surprise when he defeated the defending World Champion, Keith Deller, in the first round of the 1984 World Championship.
