Kanchana Ganga (2004 Film)
''Kanchana Ganga'' is a 2004 Kannada-language romantic drama film directed and written by Rajendra Singh Babu and produced by Vijayalakshmi Singh, Dushyant Singh and Jai Jagadish. The film stars Shiva Rajkumar and Sridevi Vijaykumar along with Jai Jagadish, Parvin Dabbas, Sumalatha and Arjun in other pivotal roles. The film was the last work of veteran cinematographer B. C. Gowrishankar who died before the release of the film. The film featured original score and soundtrack composed and written by S. A. Rajkumar. The film received the Karnataka State Award for best Costume design special award for the year 2004–05. Rajendra Singh Babu
S. V. Rajendra Singh Babu (born 22 October 1952) is an Indian filmmaker and occasional actor who works primarily in Kannada cinema. He was born and brought up in Mysore. His father Shankar Singh produced many films under the banner Mahatma Pictures (Mysore). Babu has written directed movies of different genres in Kannada and in Hindi that include love stories, war, suspense thrillers and comedy movies. Many of his films have been adapted from novels or short stories. Babu has won numerous awards for his films. Shankar Mahadevan
Shankar Mahadevan (born 3 March 1967) is an Indian singer and composer who is part of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio that writes music for Indian films.
