''Kadamba'' is a 2004 Indian Kannada-language action drama film starring Vishnuvardhan (actor), Vishnuvardhan, Bhanupriya and Naveen Krishna. The film is directed and written by director Suresh Krissna, making his debut in Kannada cinema and features soundtrack by Deva (composer), Deva. The film is inspired by the 1974 Tamil movie ''Thanga Pathakkam''. Released on 16 January 2004, the film met with mixed response at the box-office. It was an average at the box office. Suresh Krissna
Suresh Krissna (born 25 June 1959) is an Indian film director who has directed Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi Language films. His first independent film as a director was '' Sathya'' (1988), with Kamal Haasan. He is well known for having directed Rajinikanth in four films which include, '' Annamalai'' (1992), '' Veera'' (1994), ''Baashha'' (1995) and '' Baba'' (2002). In the 1990s, he has also directed other major superstars including Mohanlal, Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan. Early life and career Suresh was born to R. Krishna and K. Sharada in Bombay. History and profile ''Ananda Vikatan'' was started by Late Pudhoor Vaidyanadhaiyar in February 1926 as a monthly publication. ''Annaamalai'' (also spelt ''Annamalai''; ) is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by Suresh Krissna and produced by Kavithalayaa Productions.
