KNAI (860 AM; "La Campesina 101.9") is a Regional Mexican-formatted radio station in Phoenix, Arizona. KNAI is owned by the Farmworker Educational Radio Network, Inc. Its studios are located in Phoenix near Piestewa Peak and its transmitter is in South Phoenix near Broadway and 27th Avenue. KNAI operates by day with 940 watts non-directional and at 1,000 watts at night with a directional antenna. It is owned by Gray Television alongside CBS affiliate KPHO-TV (channel 5) and low-power LATV affiliate KPHE-LD (channel 44). KTAR (620 AM) is a radio station in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Owned and operated by Bonneville International, it currently is a sports radio station airing network programming from ESPN Radio. The studios are located in north Phoenix near Piestewa Peak, and the station broadcasts with 5,000 watts from a transmitter site near the corner of 36th Street and Thomas Road. KTAR was established in 1922 as KFAD, owned by the McArthur brothers, and became one of just two stations in Phoenix (alongside KOY) from the early 1920s through 1940. It is owned and operated by the network's Fox Television Stations division alongside MyNetworkTV station KUTP (channel 45). The station, owned by Entravision Communications, was part of the " Super Estrella" satellite network until 2009. KPHX (1480 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Phoenix, Arizona. It is owned by Vic Micheal's Cedar Cove Broadcasting. KPHX carries a Spanish language Christian talk and teaching radio format.
