KLE Institute Of Technology
The K.L.E Society's KLE Institute of Technology (KLEIT) is an engineering college in Hubli, India. Established in 2008, it is one of the institutes under the banner of Karnatak Lingayat Education Society(KLE). KLEIT is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE and recognized by University Grants Commission (India), University Grant Commission of India. KLEIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum for its Bachelor of Engineering, BE, Master of Computer Application, MCA and Master of Technology, M.Tech courses. Hubli
Hubli, officially known as Hubballi, is a city in the Indian state of Karnataka. The twin cities Hubli–Dharwad form the second largest city in the state by area and population and the largest city in North Karnataka. Hubli is in Dharwad district of Karnataka and is the taluk headquarters of Hubli City and Hubli Rural. Although it hosts the HDMC office, the district headquarters is in Dharwad. It also houses the largest number of government offices outside the state capital. In 2016, Hubli-Dharwad was selected for solar city / green city master plans. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Education (India), Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India. The Framework was approved by the MHRD and launched by Minister of Human Resource Development on 29 September 2015. Depending on their areas of operation, institutions have been ranked under 11 different categories – overall, university, colleges, engineering, management, pharmacy, law, medical, architecture, dental and research. University Grants Commission (UGC) is a statutory body set up by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India in accordance to the UGC Act 1956 and is charged with coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of higher education in India.
