K. Selva Bharathy is an Indian film director and dialogue writer, who works in Tamil cinema. He made his debut with the Tamil film ''Ninaithen Vandhai'' (1998) starring Vijay, Rambha and Devayani. He was one time assistant of late director-actor Manivannan S. Tamil cinema, also known as Kollywood is a part of Indian Cinema; primarily engaged in production of motion pictures in the Tamil language. Based out of the Kodambakkam neighbourhood in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, it is popularly called ''Kollywood'' - a portmanteau of the words Kodambakkam and Hollywood. ''Vivaramana Aalu'' () is a 2002 Indian Tamil language comedy drama film directed by K. Selva Bharathy. The film stars Sathyaraj, Vivek, Devayani and Mumtaj, with Ponnambalam, Prathap K.
