''K-1 World Grand Prix 2012 Final'' was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 promotion. It took place on March 15, 2013 in Zagreb, Croatia. It was the 19th annual K-1 World GP Final and the first K-1 event since the establishment of K-1 Global Holdings Ltd by EMCOM Entertainment. For the first time in history it was held outside Japan. Randy “Boom Boom” Blake (born November 25, 1986) is an American kickboxer who competes in the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions. Known for his speed and kicking ability, he began his martial arts training in karate at the age of seven before turning to kickboxing. He initially gained recognition fighting in the World Combat League, then went on the win and dominate the Xtreme Fighting League's Light heavyweight Kickboxing Championship with numerous title defenses. Hiromi Amada ( ja, 天田 ヒロミ; born May 10, 1973) is a retired Japanese heavyweight kickboxer and boxer from Gunma, Japan. A staple in the K-1 heavyweight division from 1999 to 2007, the company considered him one of its most talented Japanese fighters, second only to Musashi. He is also the first-ever HEAT Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion and holds notable victories over Freddy Kemayo, Makoto Uehara, and Rene Rooze. Paul "The Sting" Slowinski (born 24 September 1980) is a Polish kickboxer, a four-time World Muay Thai Council (WMC) Muay Thai World champion and two-time K-1 World GP 2006 in Auckland and K-1 World GP 2007 in Amsterdam champion. Taishan Dong
Dong Jianjun (; born 18 May 1988), known by his ring name Taishan Dong, is a Chinese undefeated professional boxer who fights at heavyweight. Amateur career Dong initially started out in basketball, hockey and kickboxing, taking the ring name Taishan after the mountain of the same name. In February 2013, he floored Bob Sapp in a kickboxing fight held in Tokyo. Dong met with boxing promoter Liu Gang who persuaded him to take up professional boxing.
