Jürgen Klimke
Jürgen Klimke (born 2 July 1948, in Hamburg) is a German politician and member of the conservative party CDU — Christian Democratic Union of Germany (German: Christlich Demokratische Union Deutschlands). From 1982 to 2002 he was member of the Parliament of the Free and Federal State of Hamburg (German: Hamburgische Bürgerschaft). Between 2002 and 2017, he represented Hamburg in the German Federal Parliament (the Bundestag). Life and career After studying law at the University of Hamburg Klimke worked as a journalist. In addition to his parliamentary activities, he was CEO and is co-owner of the Public relations firm Industrie-Contact AG' in Hamburg. Personal life Klimke is Protestant, married and has four children. Political career Klimke joined the CDU in 1970. OSCE
The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) is the world's largest regional security-oriented intergovernmental organization with observer status at the United Nations. Its mandate includes issues such as arms control, promotion of human rights, freedom of the press, and free and fair elections. It employs around 3,460 people, mostly in its field operations but also in its secretariat in Vienna, Austria, and its institutions. It has its origins in the mid-1975 Conference on Security and Co-operation in Europe (CSCE) held in Helsinki, Finland. The OSCE is concerned with early warning, conflict prevention, crisis management, and post-conflict rehabilitation.
