Jürgen Brähmer
Jürgen Brähmer (born 5 October 1978) is a German professional boxer. He is a two-time former light-heavyweight world champion, having held the WBO title from 2009 to 2011, and the WBA (Regular) title from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, he has held the European light-heavyweight title twice, in 2009 and 2013. Amateur career As an amateur, Brähmer accumulated 95 wins in 100 fights including victories against Ricky Hatton in 1996, Felix Sturm in 1997 and Carl Froch in the final at the German championship in 1998. Marcus Oliveira (born March 18, 1979) is a Menominee light heavyweight professional boxer fighting out of Lawrence, Kansas. Professional career Oliveira made his professional debut with a knockout win against Daniel Russell in April 2006. Oliveira would win his first six bouts by knockout, five of them in the first round. Eduard Gutknecht
Eduard Gutknecht (born 19 March 1982) is a German former professional boxer who competed from 2006 to 2016. He won the European light-heavyweight title in 2011, making three successful defences before losing it to Jürgen Brähmer in 2013. Gutknecht also challenged for the WBA light-heavyweight title, losing in a rematch against Brähmer in 2016. In November 2016, he was rushed to a London hospital and had emergency surgery following a losing bout with George Groves. Gutknecht suffered a bleed in the skull and collapsed in the dressing room. Beibut Amirhanovich Shumenov ( kk, Бейбіт Әмірханұлы Шүменов; born 19 August 1983) is a Kazakhstani former professional boxer. He is a multiple-time world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBA (Regular) cruiserweight title twice between 2016 and January 2021 and the WBA light-heavyweight title from 2010 to 2014. Early life Shumenov’s mother was a schoolteacher and his father was a chief accountant. Both worked long hours and Shumenov was left with two aunts to look after him. Interim Title
An interim championship is an alternate title that is awarded by the sanctioning bodies of professional boxing, and in other combat sports such as kickboxing, professional wrestling, and mixed martial arts. Occasionally, the champion of a particular weight division is temporarily unable to defend his championship because of medical, legal, or other reasons beyond the competitor's control. When this case occurs, two highly ranked contenders may fight for an interim championship of the same weight division – leading to two champions existing in the same weight division simultaneously. Aleksy Kuziemski (born 9 May 1977) is a Polish professional boxer and light heavyweight world title challenger. Amateur career As an amateur, Kuziemski for Astoria Bydgoszcz won a bronze medal at the 2003 World Amateur Boxing Championships in the light heavyweight division, and another bronze at the 2004 European Amateur Boxing Championships.
