Júnior Negão (beach Soccer)
Hilton Santos Júnior (born 29 March 1964), better known as Júnior Negão, is a Brazilian former beach soccer player who played as a defender for the Brazil national team. He is considered to be one of the greatest players to play the sport, FIFA.com describing his career as "incomparable" upon his retirement; Swiss coach Angelo Schirinzi named him as part of his all-time beach soccer dream team in 2021. After retiring he undertook two spells as head coach of Brazil. Career As a youth, Júnior Negão developed as an association football player. He was first on the books of Flamengo from 1981, having been spotted by Sebastião Lazaroni playing football on the beach, and later with Fluminense in 1984. Cláudio Adão
Cláudio Adalberto Adão, or simply Cláudio Adão (born in Volta Redonda, 2 July 1955), is a former Brazilian football (soccer), football player. A gifted Striker (association football), forward, Adão was the top-scorer of almost every championship he's played. His first professional club was Santos Futebol Clube, Santos FC, where he arrived in 1972. When Pelé left Santos in 1974, the club predicted a brilliant future ahead for Adão as Pelé's natural replacement. But they couldn't predict Adão would suffer a serious injury that would leave him off of the pitch for several months. 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup
The 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was the eighth edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, the premier international beach soccer competition for men's national teams, which has been organized by FIFA since 2005. Overall, this was the 18th edition of a world cup in beach soccer since the establishment of the ''Beach Soccer World Championships'' which ran from 1995 to 2004 but was not governed by FIFA. It was also the third edition to take place under the biennial system introduced in 2009. 2013 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup
The 2013 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup was the seventh edition of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. Overall, this was the 17th edition of a world cup in beach soccer since the establishment of the ''Beach Soccer World Championships'' which ran from 1995–2004 but was not governed by FIFA. It took place from 18–28 September 2013 at Tahua To'ata Stadium (Stade Tahua To'ata) in Papeete, Tahiti, French Polynesia and was the fourth tournament to have taken place outside Brazil. This was the second tournament to take place since the establishment of a longer two-year cycle of tournaments. The BSWW Mundialito, often simply known as Mundialito, is an annual international beach soccer tournament that takes place between few select countries, which are invited to play at the tournament organized by Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW). First played in 1994 at Copacabana beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the competition was reignited in 1997 in Portugal, where it was held ever since until 2022. FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup
The FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup is an international beach soccer competition contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA, the sport's global governing body. The tournament was preceded by the ''Beach Soccer World Championships'' established in 1995 which took place every year for the next decade under the supervision of Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW) and its predecessors. FIFA joined hands with BSWW in 2005 to take over the organization of the competition, re-branding it as an official FIFA tournament.
