Junior Alberto Lacayo Rochez (born 19 August 1995) is a Honduran professional footballer who plays as a striker for Marathón and the Honduras national team Club career Club Deportivo Victoria At the age of 16, Lacayo made his professional debut on July 29, 2012 against Motagua as a substitute for Rubén Licona. He was regarded by some people as heir to legendary Honduran striker Milton ''Tyson'' Núñez. In May 2013 Lacayo started a trial period with English Premier League side, West Ham United. In total, Lacayo scored nine goals in 23 appearances for Victoria. International career At the age of 17, Lacayo was called up by Luis Fernando Suárez to play against Panama and Canada in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers but did not play either games. La Ceiba
La Ceiba () is a municipality, the capital of the Honduran department of Atlántida (department), Atlántida and a port city on the northern coast of Honduras in Central America. It is located on the southern edge of the Caribbean, forming part of the south eastern boundary of the Gulf of Honduras. The 2013 Copa Centroamericana was the 12th Copa Centroamericana, the regional championship for men's national association football teams in Central America. It was organized by the ''Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol'' or UNCAF, and took place in Costa Rica from 18 January to 27 January 2013. The top five teams go on to participate in the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The tournament consisted of two stages. In the group stage of the tournament finals, the seven teams competed for points in two round-robin groups, one of four teams and the other of three, with the top two teams in each group proceeding. 2021 CONCACAF League
The 2021 CONCACAF League (officially the 2021 Scotiabank CONCACAF League for sponsorship purposes) was the 5th edition of the CONCACAF League, a football club competition organized by CONCACAF, the regional governing body of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. Comunicaciones defeated Motagua in the final to win their first CONCACAF League title. As winners, they and the next best five teams qualifed for the 2022 CONCACAF Champions League.
