Júlio Regufe Alves (born 29 June 1991) is a Portuguese professional Association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Born in Póvoa de Varzim, Alves played youth football with three clubs, finishing his development with Rio Ave F.C., Rio Ave FC. In the 2010–11 Segunda Divisão, 2010–11 season, he made his senior debut with farm team G.D. Ribeirão in the Segunda Divisão, third division. In late January 2011, Alves was recalled by his parent club, making his Primeira Liga debut on 6 February by playing the last five minutes – and nearly scoring from a Free kick (association football), free kick – of a 1–0 away loss against FC Porto, which he had previously represented as a youth. Póvoa De Varzim
Póvoa de Varzim (, ) is a Portuguese city in Northern Portugal and sub-region of Greater Porto, from its city centre. It sits in a sandy coastal plain, a cuspate foreland, halfway between the Minho and Douro rivers. In 2001, there were 63,470 inhabitants, with 42,396 living in the city proper. The city expanded southwards, to Vila do Conde, and there are about 100,000 inhabitants in the urban area alone. In sports, a farm team, farm system, feeder team, feeder club, or nursery club is generally a team or club whose role is to provide experience and training for young players, with an agreement that any successful players can move on to a higher level at a given point, usually in an association with a major-level parent team. 2012–13 Segunda Liga
The 2012–13 Segunda Liga was the 23rd season of the second-tier of football in Portugal. This season marked a series of changes in the league overall. The league's name was changed back to Segunda Liga from the previous Liga de Honra. A total of 22 teams contested the league, up from 16 in the previous season; 14 of which contested the 2011–12 season, two of which were promoted from the Portuguese Second Division (including a reserve team), one of which was relegated from the 2011–12 Primeira Liga, and five of which were new reserve teams of Primeira Liga clubs. The reserve teams were not eligible for promotion to the Primeira Liga. Events União de Leiria were relegated to the second division due to not fulfilling the mandatory requirements by the Portuguese League for Professional Football regarding the application process to professional competitions. Carlos Augusto Soares da Costa Faria Carvalhal (; born 4 December 1965) is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a centre-back, currently manager of La Liga club RC Celta de Vigo. As a player, he totalled 197 Primeira Liga appearances in service of six clubs, including two spells each at Braga and Chaves, as well as a single game for Porto. In a managerial career of over two decades, Carvalhal led eight teams in Portugal's top flight, including Braga twice, winning the Taça de Portugal in 2021. Transfer Window
A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. "Transfer window" is the unofficial term commonly used by the media for the concept of "registration period" as described in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. According to the rules, each national football association decides on the time (such as the dates) of the 'window' but it may not exceed 12 weeks. The second registration period occurs during the season and may not exceed four weeks. The 2010–11 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga ZON Sagres for sponsorship reasons) was the 77th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. It began on 15 August 2010 and ended on 14 May 2011. A total of 16 teams contested the league, 14 of which already took part in the previous season and two of which were promoted from the Liga de Honra. Benfica were the defending champions but finished runners-up to Porto, who won their 25th league title in the club's first-ever unbeaten season. Porto's forward Hulk was the top scorer with 23 goals. Teams Belenenses and Leixões were relegated at the end of the 2009–10 season after finishing in the bottom two places of the table. Vila Do Conde
Vila do Conde (, ; "the Count's Town") is a municipality in the Norte Region of Portugal. The population in 2011 was 79,533, in an area of 149.03 km². The urbanized area of Vila do Conde, which includes the parishes of Vila do Conde, Azurara and Árvore, represent 36,137 inhabitants.
