Jørn Aksel Krog (11 April 1948 – 3 March 2015) was a Norwegian civil servant. He was born in Trondheim. Trondheim ( , , ; sma, Tråante), historically Kaupangen, Nidaros and Trondhjem (), is a city and municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The pelagic sector forms an important part of the seafood industry, which is Norway's second largest export trade. History Noregs Sildesalslag originated as an association of herring fishermen which was formed in 1936 with the merger of two fishing associations: Storsildlaget, which dated to 1926, and Stor- og Vårsildlaget, which dated from 1928. The Royal Norwegian Ministry of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs ( no, Fiskeri- og kystdepartementet) was a Norwegian ministry responsible for fisheries industry, aquaculture industry, seafood safety, fish health and welfare, harbours, water transport infrastructure and emergency preparedness for pollution incidents.
