Jörg Sievers
Jörg Sievers (born 22 September 1965) is a retired goalkeeper and current Assistant manager of Scottish Premiership club Heart of Midlothian. Career Sievers was in Römstedt, West Germany. He played for Hannover 96 for more than 10 years, and made a club record 384 league appearances, primarily playing in the 2. Bundesliga. He remained with the club through relegation to the Regionalliga and eventually played out his final season in the Bundesliga in 2002. His main career highlight with the club was perhaps winning the 1991–92 DFB-Pokal against Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he saved two crucial penalties during the shootout. On 6 March 2010, he made a comeback with the reserve team of Hannover 96. Coaching career He has recently joined up with Daniel Stendel at Heart of Midlothian working as an assistant manager. Fury In The Slaughterhouse
Fury in the Slaughterhouse is a German rock band from Hanover, founded in 1987. Their hits include "Time to Wonder", "Every Generation Got Its Own Disease", "Won't Forget These Days", "Radio Orchid", "Dancing in the Sunshine of the Dark", "Milk & Honey" and "Trapped Today, Trapped Tomorrow". The band disbanded in 2008 before reuniting in June 2013 at the Expo Plaza Festival in Hanover for only one show, and reunited again in 2017 for a nationwide tour which started with three dates at the TUI Arena, Hanover, in March. The reunited band released their latest album in 13 years, ''NOW'' in April 2021. The DFB-Pokal ( is a German knockout football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). Sixty-four teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga. It is considered the second-most important club title in German football after the Bundesliga championship. Taking place from August until May, the winner qualifies for the DFL-Supercup and the UEFA Europa League unless the winner already qualifies for the UEFA Champions League in the Bundesliga. The competition was founded in 1935, then called the '' Tschammer-Pokal''. The first titleholders were 1. FC Nürnberg. In 1937, Schalke 04 were the first team to win the double. The Tschammer-Pokal was suspended in 1944 due to World War II and disbanded following the demise of Nazi Germany.
