Jönköpings Södra IF
Jönköpings Södra IF, also known as J-Södra IF, J-Södra or simply Jönköping, is a Swedish football club based in Jönköping. The club, founded in 1922, returned to the Swedish second division Superettan in 2018 after relegation from the 2017 Allsvenskan. J-Södra has played a total of twelve Allsvenskan seasons previously, with the most successful finish being runner-up in 1950 and their last spell ending in 2017. The club is affiliated to the Smålands Fotbollförbund. They are currently (2023) playing in Superettan. Jsödra is a member-controlled club. Their home games are played at Stadsparksvallen with a capacity of 7300 The club's training facility is located in Odensberg, Jönköping. Stadsparksvallen, locally sometimes called ''Vallen'', is a classic sports facility located in Jönköping, Sweden. Stadsparksvallen was inaugurated in 1902 and is located in the Jönköping City Park, atop a mountain located west of the city. It functions as home ground for association football, soccer club Jönköpings Södra IF IK Tord has also played its home games here during som seasons. Until 1981 it was also used for track and field events. Jönköpings Södra IF has played 10 seasons in the Swedish Allsvenskan in Stadsparksvallen. Sweden women's national football team has played thrice at the venue, first time in 1985 against Belgium women's national football team, Belgium. Adam Karim Ben Lamin ( ar, آدَم كَرِيْم بن لَامِيْن; born 2 June 2001) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Jönköpings Södra. Born in Sweden, he plays for the Tunisia national team. Early life Ben Lamin was born in Solna, and grew up in the Rinkeby-Kista district of Stockholm. Career Ben Lamin began playing football with the youth academy of Vasalund at the age of 4, and moved to the academy of AIK at the age of 10. After working his way up the U17 and U19 teams for AIK, he returned to Vasalund on loan in February 2018. Marcus Gustav Degerlund (born 16 March 1998) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a defender for Stockholm Internazionale. Club career Youth years and early senior career Degerlund grew up in Västerås, where he started his football career at the local club Västerås IK. The club's senior team by then competed in the Swedish fourth tier, Division 2. But before being able to make his first team debut, Degerlund moved to Västerås SK ahead of the 2013 season, aged 14. Mats Åke Gren (born 20 December 1963) is a Swedish football coach and former player who played as a defender. He played for IFK Göteborg and Grasshopper during a professional career that spanned between 1978 and 2000. The 2014 Superettan, part of the 2014 Swedish football season, was the 14th season of Superettan, Sweden's second-tier football league in its current format. Carl Jan Olof "Olle" Nordin (born 23 November 1949) is a Swedish former football coach and former player. He represented IFK Norrköping, IFK Sundsvall, and IFK Göteborg during a playing career that spanned between 1970 and 1980.
