József Kovács (3 March 1926 – 29 March 1987) was a Hungarian athlete who competed mainly in the 10,000 metres. Athletics is a group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross country running, and racewalking.
