Jacob De Jager
Jacob de Jager (16 January 1923 – 25 February 2004) was a general authority of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). He was the first Dutch person to serve as a general authority. De Jager was born in the Netherlands and joined the church while living in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His work took him to Australia, Indonesia, Mexico and Canada. His first calling in the church was hymnal coordinator which he filled honorably. He also served as elders quorum president, branch president, counselor to mission president and regional representative before his call to the First Quorum of the Seventy. In 1993, de Jager was designated an emeritus general authority and he later served as bishop of a ward in central Salt Lake City. Richard Jaeger (16 February 1913 – 15 May 1998) was a German politician of the Christian Social Union of Bavaria. Under Ludwig Erhard's second ministry, he was Minister of Justice (26 October 1965 – 1 December 1966). From 1933, Jaeger was a member of Hitler's paramilitary organization, the Sturmabteilung (SA). Karl Jäger (; 20 September 1888 – 22 June 1959) was a German mid-ranking official in the '' SS'' of Nazi Germany and ''Einsatzkommando'' leader who perpetrated acts of genocide during the Holocaust. Early life and career Jäger was born in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, and moved with his father to Germany when he was 3 years of age. Jäger enlisted in the German Imperial Army at the start of World War I, where he received the Iron Cross (1st Class) and other awards. After the war, Jäger, an orchestrion maker by profession, obtained a managerial position with the Weber orchestrion factory in Waldkirch. The name "Operation Valkyrie"—originally referring to part of the conspiracy—has become associated with the entire event. Friedrich Gustav Jaeger (25 September 1895 – 21 August 1944) was a resistance fighter in Nazi Germany and a member of the 20 July Plot. Resistance activities In 1938, after the Sudeten Crisis, Jaeger took part in the German invasion of Czechoslovakia's Sudeten-German areas. With the outbreak of the Second World War, he was deployed in the invasion of Poland. Hans Henrik Jæger (2 September 1854, Drammen, Norway – 8 February 1910, Oslo) was a Norwegian writer, philosopher and anarchist political activist who was part of the Oslo (then Kristiania)-based bohemian group known as the Kristiania Bohemians. In 1886 he was prosecuted for his book ''Fra Kristiania-bohêmen'', then convicted and sentenced to 60 days' imprisonment and a fine of for infringement of modesty and public morals, and for blasphemy.
