János Csank
János Csank (born 27 October 1946, in Ózd, Hungary) is a former Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper and football manager. Club coaching career Csank won the Nemzeti Bajnokság I, National Championship twice, at first in 1994 with Vác-Újbuda LTC, Vác FC-Samsung and in 2001 in charge of Ferencvárosi Torna Club, Ferencváros. He resigned from Ferencváros in April 2008 after a 2–2 draw against Makó left Fradi in third place eight points behind Nemzeti Bajnokság II (Eastern Group) leaders Kecskeméti TE. International coaching career Csank was Coach (sport), manager of the Hungary national football team between April 1996 and November 1997. During this time, Hungary advanced from the World Cup qualification group but suffered a devastating 1–7, 5–0 defeat against FR Yugoslavia. Ózd
Ózd () is a town in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, Northern Hungary, from the county seat of Miskolc. Ózd is the second largest municipality in the county. History The area has been inhabited since ancient times. The village of Ózd was first mentioned in 1272. The Kárpátalja football team (, hu, Kárpátaljai magyar labdarúgó-válogatott) is a team representing the Hungarian minority in Carpathian Ruthenia, a historic region mostly located in western Ukraine's Zakarpattia Oblast. It is a member of ConIFA, an umbrella association for states, minorities, stateless peoples and regions unaffiliated with FIFA. History Kárpátalja joined ConIFA in 2016, first competing in the 2017 ConIFA European Football Cup as an invited team. They lost their first ever international game 1–0 against host nation Northern Cyprus, but defeated South Ossetia on the final day to finish 3rd in Group A and put them in the 5th place play-off. Bertalan Bicskei
Bertalan Bicskei (17 September 1944 – 16 July 2011) was a Hungarian football goalkeeper and manager. Playing career As a youth player, he played for the most famous Hungarian club side, Ferencváros, and he also honed his skills in Honved and MTK Budapest, both Premier Division Hungarian sides. As a goalkeeper of great talent, he played many games for the Hungary National Youth Team, as well as the 13 and Senior National Team. After his playing days were over, he devoted much of his time to coaching and teaching young soccer players on the highest level. Managerial career From 1977 to 1982, he worked as the coaching director for the MTK Budapest's youth programme, and from 1982 to 1986 he was the Youth Coach Director for the Hungary national team. A sports coach is a person coaching in sport, involved in the direction, instruction and training of a sports team or athlete. Kecskeméti Testedző Egyesület, commonly known as Kecskeméti TE or simply Kecskemét, is a sports club based in Kecskemét, Hungary. NB II, currently known as the Merkantil Bank Liga for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier of Hungarian football. At the end of the 2004–05 season, the tournament format was changed from one division of 14 teams to two divisions: ''Keleti'' (Eastern) and ''Nyugati'' (Western), each with 16 teams. In 2013 the format was changed and there is one division again with 16 teams, and then 20 teams from 2015. The champion and the runner-up will ascend to the first division while the two lowest teams in NB II are relegated to NB III.
