Jyothirmayi is an Indian actress, television presenter, and former model, who works in Malayalam cinema. Starting her career as a model, she ventured into television, working as an anchor and later starring numerous Television show. Career Jyothirmayi started her career as a model and serial artist and gained recognition for her performance in the Malayalam soap opera, ''Indraneelam'', directed by Suresh Krishnan. After a brief and unsuccessful stint acting in telefilms, she moved to full films. In her first film ''Pilots'' (2000), she played a minor character and the film was a box office bomb. She was noticed after the release of ''Meesa Madhavan'' (2002) along with actor Dileep. In Tamil, she also got offers opposite stars Sathyaraj and Vijayakanth. ''Hariharan Pilla Happy Aanu'' is a 2003 Indian Malayalam-language comedy film directed by Vishwanathan, starring Mohanlal and Jyothirmayi. This was Vishwanathan's directorial debut, and the first film for Stephen Devassy as composer. Plot Hariharan Pillai runs a construction company with his uncle Velappan. ''Kadhavaseshan'' ( en, The Deceased) is a 2004 Malayalam mystery drama film written and directed by T. V. Chandran, starring Dileep and Jyothirmayi in the lead roles. Veteran Bengali actress Gita Dey made a special appearance. It was the first movie in the 2002 Gujarat Riots trilogy by the director, the second one being Vilapangalkkappuram and the third and final one being Bhoomiyude Avakashikal. Amal Neerad (born on 7 October 1976) is an Indian film director, cinematographer and Film producer, producer who mainly works in Malayalam Cinema. He attended the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata (first batch). The Asianet Film Awards is an award ceremony for films presented annually by Asianet, a Malayalam-language television network from the south-Indian state of Kerala. Asianet says that awards ceremony has been instituted to honour both artistic and technical excellence in the Malayalam language film industry.
