Juvic Pagunsan
Juvic Pagunsan (born 11 May 1978) is a professional golfer from the Philippines who plays on the Japan Golf Tour and the Asian Tour. He won the 2007 Pertamina Indonesia President Invitational on the Asian Tour and the 2021 Gateway to The Open Mizuno Open on the Japan Golf Tour. Amateur career Pagunsan had an illustrious amateur career with numerous victories that included the 2005 Philippine, Thailand and Malaysian Amateurs. Pagunsan nearly won the 2004 Philippine Open as an amateur. He was a co-leader going into the final round, but settled for second place, three strokes behind the winner. Professional career Pagunsan turned professional in 2006 at the age of 27 and immediately qualified for the Asian Tour. He had 4 top-10s in his rookie season, and he made over $290,000 in earnings. Since 1998, the event has been prefixed , with the top finishers gaining exemptions into The Open Championship. 2020–21 Japan Golf Tour
The 2020–21 Japan Golf Tour was a series of professional golf tournaments organised by the Japan Golf Tour Organization. The 2020 season was originally scheduled to be played from 16 January to 6 December 2020, and comprised 25 official money events, mostly in Japan. Other than the four majors, which are played outside Japan, there was one event in Singapore and one event in South Korea; the SMBC Singapore Open which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour, and the Shinhan Donghae Open which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the Korean Tour. Most of the scheduled tournaments were cancelled during 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic. The Singapore Open was a golf tournament in Singapore that was predominantly part of the Asian Tour schedule. The event was held at Sentosa Golf Club since 2005 and since 2017 had been part of the Open Qualifying Series, giving up to four non-exempt players entry into The Open Championship. The Singapore Open was founded in 1961 and was one of the tournaments on the first season of the Far East Circuit (later the Asia Golf Circuit) the following year. It remained part of the Asia circuit until 1993 when it became a fixture on the Australasian Tour. Mo Joong-kyung (; born 23 August 1971) is a professional golfer from South Korea who currently plays on the Asian Tour, where he has won twice. Early life Mo was born in Seoul and turned professional in 1995. Professional career After turning professional in 1995, Mo decided to stay and play mainly in South Korea to be close to his family.
