Juventus is the club that has contributed the most players to the Italy national team in history. They are the only Italian club that has contributed players to every Italy national teams since its first appearance at the 2nd FIFA World Cup. Juventus have contributed numerous players to Italy's World Cup campaigns. Two Juventus players have won the '' golden boot and the golden ball'' award at the World Cup with Italy; Paolo Rossi in 1982 and Salvatore Schillaci in 1990. Giorgio Chiellini (; born 14 August 1984) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC. Alberto Aquilani (; born 7 July 1984) is an Italian football manager and former player. Mainly a central midfielder, he usually operated as a deep-lying playmaker, but was also capable of playing as an attacking midfielder. He is the head coach of Fiorentina Primavera. Roberto Anzolin
Roberto Anzolin (; 18 April 1938 – 6 October 2017) was an Italian footballer, who played as a goalkeeper. Regarded as one of the best Italian goalkeepers of his generation, he played for several Italian sides, but is mostly remembered for his successful time with Juventus at club level. At international level, he represented the Italy national football team and was a member of Italy's squad at the 1966 FIFA World Cup. Pietro Anastasi (; 7 April 1948 – 17 January 2020), nicknamed ''Petruzzu 'u turcu'' () by fans, was an Italian footballer who played mainly in the role of a forward. Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira (born 3 June 1980), known as Amauri, is an Italian former footballer who played as a striker. Luigi Allemandi (; 8 November 1903 – 25 September 1978) was an Italian footballer who played as a defender, usually as a left back. He was a member of the Italy national team which won the 1934 World Cup. Club career Born in San Damiano Macra, province of Cuneo, Allemandi debuted in 1921 with A.C. Legnano. Christian Abbiati (born 8 July 1977) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Abbiati, who had been with AC Milan since 1998, started his career with Monza, and later played more than 300 official matches for Milan.
